■ The first of its kind, Profhilo® is a revolutionary ‘beneath the skin’ hyaluronic acid moisturising treatment, made with the patented NAHYCO® technology. This results in a unique hyaluronic acid injectable gel, which has a prolonged stimulating activity on the dermal cells. When injected into skin, Profhilo stimulates the skin cell receptors to counteract skin laxity and improve and restore firmness of the skin.

HOW DOES PROFHILO® WORK?
Ultra-pure hyaluronic acid is precisely injected into the area being treated. Unlike wrinkle reducing and dermal filler treatments, Profhilo stimulates collagen and elastin, attracting water in the deeper layers of the skin.
As a stabilised product, the activity on dermal cells will last longer than that of a non-stabilised gel. During this time the stimulation of four different types of collagens and elastin takes place by slow release of hyaluronic acid. The stimulation results in significant tissue improvement.
At Arya Clinic we use the BAP technique (Bio Aesthetic Point) which uses 5 specific injection points each side of the face or neck. The BAP technique was developed by Profhilo using CT scanning to optimize the even spread of the product across the face.
IS IT SAFE?
During clinical testing, Profhilo showed absolutely no negative side-effects and has one of the highest safety ratings in the industry.
IS IT PAINFUL?
With Profhilo there is very little down time and the treatment is minimally invasive, so discomfort is minimal. However, we can use a numbing agent to minimise discomfort even further.
HOW MANY TREATMENTS WILL I NEED?
The usual treatment protocol for the best results is 2 treatments 4 weeks apart and then usually every 6 months to keep the effect going. However, everyone is different, and you may need treatments more frequent than every 6 months.
IS PROFHILO A DERMAL FILLER?
It comes under this category but works in a totally different way. Dermal fillers are more mechanical and tend to stay in one place, plumping up the area they are injected into Profhilo when injected into the face using the BAP technique spreads evenly across the face or neck and then stimulates collagen and Elastin to help firm up and rehydrate your face or any other area it is injected into.
